A Soldier's Heart, is a powerful feature-length documentary film devoted to the unique, healing trauma work of psychotherapist and author Dr. Edward Tick. The film follows Dr. Ed Tick and the courageous journeys of four Viet Nam veterans suffering from PTSD, who take an emotionally-charged journey back to the places where they killed or saw their comrades killed. This unforgettable film takes viewers into the hearts and minds of the four veterans and their families, as well as the Vietnamese people, who demonstrate great compassion for their former American enemies.
The film traces how this return trip to Viet Nam, this “second descent into hell” produced dramatic changes in all of the vets, and witnesses their transformation from soul-damaged soldiers to spiritual warriors, through a courageous unfolding of intention, compassion and love.
A SOLDIER'S HEART is currently in post-production, and promises to become a powerful feature-length documentary about War, PTSD and ultimately the loss and re-discovery of the human soul.
